Whenever we, the people (lower case on purpose) are accused of not caring about these appointments, just what do they (the congresspeople) think WE can do. THEY are our representatives. We write to them and phone them and beg them not to continue to sell us down the river, but they do anyway. Then they say we, the people, didn't care. We cared! You are our voice and you stayed silent.
All that is left for us to do is adapt and wait for a better Congress. That is it. ... short of illegal acts.
