You hit the nail on the head! I’m particularly peeved by the fact that an arsonist/potential murderer broke into Gov. Josh Shapiro’s house during Pesach and started a fire. Not a peep out of the Trump admin but anyone desecrating a Tesla dealership will get up to 20 years in prison. I hope and pray that Mr. Garcia returns. His family is heartbroken and most of the nation is upset. Trump is so damaged and enjoys inflicting pain. As the saying goes, “Hurt people hurt people.” You do great work, Harry, you’re a smart and trustworthy source of information, and for that, I'm deeply grateful.

Call your congressional representatives now and ask them what they are doing to secure Abrego Garcia’s release, as well as the illegally deported Venezuelans. Don’t be satisfied with anodyne “The Congressman/woman is doing all he/she can” responses. Demand specifics. And do your best to amplify your opposition by pressuring your local media outlets to cover this!

VP Vance might take a moment and consider the situation of his 3rd Reich counterpart, Deputy Fuhrer Rudolph Hess. Though he escaped the gallows due to being acquitted of crimes against humanity and genocide--he was in British custody from May, 1941 onward, he was convicted of crimes against peace and waging offensive war, and was imprisoned until 1987 in Spandau prison, when he took his own life. Hess spent more years in prison than Vance has now been alive.

I doubt Vance knows that about Hess. What say we send him to the UK and ask them for a favor (though).

Harry, my question is for SCOTUS. Did they give him the authority to ignore their rulings? I don’t see that in their statement. My view at this point is that whenever Donald ignores their decisions, that’s where he places himself on the outside of his perimeter of the Presidency. Therefore, prosecutable.

Today I heard AG Bondi say flat out, We are not sending Garcia back. End of story. OK. What is the judge going to do about this? How much time is she going to give the regime before someone is charged with contempt of court?

Guccifer 2 was determined by the Senate Intelligence Commitee to have been a personna created by Russian intelligence which coordinated release of emails with the '16 Trump campaign via Roger Stone. Our secure systems have been breached, with Trump's encouragement, and Musk's Starlink has undoubtedly facilitated the immediate transmission of US data to their Russian/Chinese handlers. We'll hear more about that soon. We can only guess at the extent of the intrusion. "Call out the lies; know the stakes; defend democracy." - This is what we all must do, in whatever way we can, to achieve critical mass, throw out this dreadful oligarchy, and attempt to regain a semblance of normalcy. Trump is not "normal."

It's an academic question whose indebtedness now controls: Trump's indebtedness to Putin or Musk's indebtedness to Xi. Maybe both: both are leaders of the BRICS bloc.

Garcia's attorney should bring an action against Trump, Bondi, and Miller for conspiracy, false arrest, kidnapping, false imprisoment. The damages would include the horror of imprisoning him where they knew or should have known he had faced death threats. Trump is not immune from civil suits--goodness knows that he has initiated a steady stream of them himself. If the facts can be assembled, the case should be expanded into a class action for all of those improperly held without due process. It would keep the situation in the news in a way that Trump could not control.

Nazi DOGE Communicating US Government Information With Russia

WOW!! Whistleblower Dan Berulis has come forward despite a threatening letter emanating from somewhere within the Nazi regime Mr Berulis who is/was in the IT dept of the NLRB has evidence that its secure computer systems were breached by DOGE Not only has sensitive data been exposed to the public space but there have been attempts to download information to Russia through Starlink, Musk’s satellite system

Of course there are several aspects to this whistleblower information Berulis suggests that the NLRB system is not the only agency whose data has been compromised With his network of IT government employees who do the same thing that he does at NLRB there is strong suspicion that what has been modeled at NLRB has been taking place throughout the government agencies Now that all this private citizen information is in the hands of the Nazi party(aka GOP) what will be done with it? Use the data to hurt people, particularly oligarchs who have unfair labor practices like Musk and Bezos But it’s suggested that DOGE is in cahoots with the Russian government, a direct pipeline of information to the Kremlin This is constitutional and international terrorism

For what purposes would the Nazis want this private information? Some come to mind Social security death to immigrants and other people whose social security numbers can be deleted so that the affected can no longer function financially in the country But another more insidious reason for the future, VOTER SUPPRESSION folks Pure and simple We are living in a police state creating a community of fear This is not only national security but a domestic security risk as well Could Berulis be sent to El Salvador?

Do not fight alone Better together than alone as we see protests unite us WE the People

We've been discussing this on Thom Hartmann.https://hartmannreport.com/p/the-department-of-government-efficiency-fbd?utm_campaign=email-half-post&r=zc69i&utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

I add at my former agency:

"Labor Leaders Fear Elon Musk and DOGE Could Gain Access to Whistleblower Files

What Happened: The AFL-CIO and former OSHA officials warn that Musk’s operatives are embedded at the Department of Labor, and may gain access to sensitive whistleblower files. Musk's companies—Tesla, SpaceX, and The Boring Company—have over 50 active OSHA investigations for workplace injuries and safety violations.

"Why It Matters: Musk’s operatives inside federal agencies pose a dangerous conflict of interest—especially as whistleblowers from Musk-linked and Trump-aligned companies seek protection. Their confidential files could be weaponized to punish them, turning oversight into retaliation".

Source: WIRED

IMHO worse at another agency where I once worked -- SSA.

" at the direction of DOGE, has begun knowingly adding living people to SSA’s death records — the Death Master File (DMF) — by assigning them false “dates of death” to “terminat[e]” their “financial lives.”

"Being wrongfully identified as dead in Social Security records “can lead to benefit termination … and severe financial hardship and distress to affected individuals.” Because the DMF is leveraged by many federal and state agencies to determine eligibility — and by the Treasury Department’s government-wide “Do Not Pay” system to prevent improper payments — false inclusion of a death date can lead to an individual losing their health coverage through Medicare, having their tax return delayed, or having their Social Security or other eligible benefit payments cancelled, among other harms.

"The DMF is also used by some private-sector companies with a legitimate business or anti-fraud need for the data — including financial institutions, credit agencies, insurance companies, and pension administrators. As a result, being inappropriately listed as dead can result in severe financial consequences like disruption in bank account access, credit cards being cancelled, pension benefits being paused, insurance coverage being cancelled or claims being denied, rejected employment applications, or denial of credit.

"The first group of people to be wrongfully and knowingly declared dead by the Trump Administration are reportedly being targeted in an immigration enforcement effort focused, at least in part, on people who were lawfully present and eligible to work until the Trump Administration abruptly terminated their lawful status. These individuals would have been correctly issued Social Security numbers (SSNs) upon obtaining their lawful immigration statuses, and any change in those statuses should not limit their access to their own financial resources in U.S. banks."

I recommend that Thom interview Ed Weir, PhD, Former Social Security Manager. https://www.youtube.com/@MyGovExpert

Thanks so much Daniel for this major input of information about the DMF and the Hartmann column Gives us great insight as to the damage that DOGE/Nazi regime can do to wreak havoc on the electorate

What could happen if wide swaths of the US electorate were declared dead? Their voting rights would be wiped away leaving large groups unable to vote or even register to vote A dark foreboding for 2026 Thanks again for your excellent exposure to DMF

I would love to see Pam Bondi ;lose her license to practice law. She is the epitome of a shyster lawyer in my estimation, and she lacks having a shred of compassion. The present occupants of the DOJ sound like they has never been near a law school, let alone ah institution that requires the basic ability of rational thinking. The excuses they come up with are so childish and absurd no sane person would believe them. What gargage dump did rump drag them out of?

Actually, my sense is that Bondi is probably a pretty decent lawyer. Her problem is she works for Trump who has a history of dictating legal maneuvers to lawyers, and even the results of physical exams to doctors. He effectively is the fool who represents/examines himself. Bondi and others should take notice of the number of Trump lawyers who have been disbarred.

In addition to a request for mandamus for extradition or an equivalent , if I were the ACLU, I'd hire a civil rights lawyer in El Salvador.

From AI: In El Salvador, habeas corpus is a legal remedy to ensure personal freedom and prevent illegal detention. The Supreme Court of Justice, and in some cases the Appellate Court, are responsible for protecting constitutional rights, including habeas corpus. The Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court has jurisdiction over habeas corpus claims.
