Please keep on top of this. It has faded from the legacy media. Where is due process if they can’t immediately deport him to 3rd country

I'm hoping that you meant to say, "where is Due Process if they [can] immediately deport him to..."

One more situation where the evil of Trump and Millers plan is ruining a persons life. Now compounded by their refusal to accept their responsibility for their tragic error.

The evil of the Trump regime has tentacles that pull everyone into their evil scheme.

I know I’m referring to evil constantly .

It cannot be dismissed as anything but, if we are to treat this twisted illness they are using our tax dollars to promote.

It’s immoral . They may not have a grasp on it because they’ve so profoundly absorbed it into their beings.

And the Republican Congress is complicit .

Wow! This sounds more like a movie than real life. Sad thing is that this real life. How low has our country's people in power stooped to senselessly do this to another human being. What's just as bad is how they're treating the other people in that horrible prison. I'm plain out disgusted with this regime that's running our country. And for what?? A greedy 80 year old piece of crap that is a lying & grifting fool whose only God is money.

And to make matters worse Trump is going to use the immigrants in the prison for slaves slave labor. Trump is a sick fuck. He’s mean look at that alligator Alcatraz now he’s selling items with the name on it. Does he think it’s a joke?

Making a joke requires some capacity for cognition. He's too stupid for humor. Trump and his henchmen are disgusting criminals. Stupid, filthy demons.

They need to be returned as well.

Everyone missed the intent of JD Vance’s comment on how ICE funding is the only important thing. It’s funding secret police and concentration camps. For everyone including American Citizens!!! The arrests and disappearances and sending Americans to jails in third world countries is for ALL AMERICANS!!!

I so wish George Orwell had lived to see Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem in action. In hindsight, 1984 would have benefited from having more female villains.

I just want to thank Harry, and all the commenters, for your voices and your presence. In an America gone bonkers, knowing that one is not alone in seeing the OBVIOUS evil and corruption of this Orwellian idiocratic dictatorship, while so many others blithely roll along in affirmation, denial, or non-interest, is vital for maintaining sanity and a steady course of resistance.

I'm thinking Dickens more than Kafka.

Not being pedantic--Dickens focused on the injustices committed by individuals in the grip of a personal sense of vengeance developed out of earlier wrongs done to them--what Nietzsche called "ressentiment". And yes ressentiment can morph into a collective act of terror, as Dickens portrays the French Revolution (where misery and injustice is supplanted by terror and injustice). But he focuses less than the faceless absurdity of unjust beaurocratic systems and more on the people who make it happen.

I don't know the hearts of the people responsible for this abuse of the justice system, but their actions are clear enough. As is the damage.

I can't believe we're the bad guys now. My illusions about this country for which I serviced two tours in Iraq have been shattered. It will be a long slog to reclaim the moral high ground again. I remain hopeful that we can because of people like Harry.

These acts against Garcia are so outrageous and numerous that it’s difficult to keep track of what to be pissed off the most about. And I keep wondering what I can do to help. It’s so frustrating to read about it and not be able to do anything other than protest, spread the word, and hope the courts protect him and save the rest of the victims kidnapped by the trump regime and held against their will.

Well said and thanks for following this case.

Trump and all of his obsequious fascists fall in line and have been using the immense powers of the DOJ and the federal government to make a disturbing mockery of our laws and judicial system.

You nailed this one Harry! The whole point of this administration is the cruelty, which these sick, twisted psychos thrive on, and have their whole lives. They forget that what goes around comes back around and their time for accountability will come, just like it did in Germany in the 40’s.
