Another example of the importance of civil society pushback on authoritarianism. Some levels of the judiciary try to "hold the line" but with a supreme court leaning to the ultimate authority of the executive, and the legislative branch in the control of authoritarians. it is up to citizen movements to continue the pressure. Mass movements need to demand absolute opposition by the democratic party and demonstrate power in the November elections. Find a No Kings event this weekend and support the resistance!
