Like most of felon Trumps illegal acts over the last ten years, he does them in the open and in daylight!

This does not make it right, but it does make one wonder why there is so little push back from Americans!

Are people OK with this destruction of our Democracy by Trumps incompetent enablers?

CORRECTION:

"Trumps BEST and GREATEST incompetent enablers"

(I still believe in lack of credit where lack of credit is due.)

Good point, Patrick.

Insufficient pushback is likely a result of a mostly supine corporate media, the best of whom are flummoxed by the constant onslaught of (Putin/Muskkk/Trumpuppet) inspired KAOS. We can't pushback against what we (the overwhelming majority of us) are unaware of. We need a pro-democracy media akin to the now, state media apparatus of Fox News, its clones and clowns. There are many alternatives to the state run drivel, but they need our attention, support and promotion. Meidas News Network is an up and comer, and there are older more established alt media stalwarts, but they're not widely known, or circulated -- yet. Please post if you have some faves, or if any would like some suggestions ...

This seems like projection... Why aren't more people talking about the data that THIS WILL HOLD substack has collected and laid out with all of the spider web of connections to the people that helped fund the current administration during the campaign? I implore everyone to subscribe to THIS WILL HOLD to follow their series on anomalies that have been identified in many aspects of the 2024 election, and pay attention to the Rockland lawsuit that is requesting a hand recount due to data anomalies identified by Election Truth Alliance. We shouldn't shy away from this just because we don't want to seem like he did in 2020 with questioning the election results!

Yes, please, please, please! I don't know why this isn't getting more traction. Democrats are timidly afraid of looking like the Republicans, who were of course projecting all their misdeeds. So are we going to just roll over and accept this, or pursue a true verification?

Yes...2024 is highly suspect and I am glad to see and read on the discrepancies that have been uncovered. Greg Palast also speaks on how things are being manipulated and suppressed.

Here's a link for "This will hold" article on why this is so suspect...

Yes! "This Will Hold" statistical analyses of 2024 swing states' voting patterns deserve much additional scrutiny, concerns and questions. Not much will happen in that regard until enough people become aware and begin to push for further analysis by known, respected fact checkers. But as this piece by Harry that we're commenting under reminds -- everyone's likely afraid they'll targeted by a compromised, delegitimized but still incredibly powerful, now weaponized DOJ. None-the-less, we should request and hope that Pro Publica, Snopes, Wired and similar might courageously take up the challenge. For those interested, "This Will Hold" is on Substack. I for one urge everyone, even skeptics to check it out.

We Democrats have been burned by the very words 'election fraud ' so we are afraid to acknowledge the clear fraud in the last election! We all saw the long lines of people waiting to vote and they weren't going to vote for that traitor!

And the spider web of connections needs to be made pure, simple (as possible) and clear to every possible voter. The reason we SHOULD question election results "like he did" is that he's had 4 years to perfect the deceit and trickery he (baselessly) claimed others did in 2020 and now he's backed with a reinforced group of project 2025 masterminds (insane but still in the perverted way insanity has of mastery).

This is a red light flashing for democracy. All else falls by the wayside if we lose free and fair elections. As you said, it is not alarmist to call Trump out for aiming to subvert the process that underpins everything we do. We will devolve into the Magaverse version of reality -- the banana republic Project 2025 envisions as our future, if we can't defend the polls against this stage of Trump's corruption

I'm afraid that's hard to believe at this point. The radicals who saw Trump as the perfect vessel to effect their vision of America came into this administration ready to roll. They spent [at least] 4 years planning and preparing to hit the ground running. The strategy in the area of voting rights and election security is transparent: focus on suppression, intimidation, and guaranteeing specific partisan outcomes. Accomplices are everywhere, including a complicit SCOTUS. In Texas, Abbott is calling a special session to redraw the congressional map to produce an even greater Republican dominance. I didn't even know it was possible to just proclaim a new map would be drawn, not related to decennial census or a court order. Meanwhile every facet of our government structure is being routed. We are reaching (or past) the point where an answer at the ballot box is even possible.

As a Canadian with family and friends in the US, I'm watching your country disintegrate before my eyes. I predict Trump and the GOP will CANCEL the mid-terms and the 2028 Presidential elections - based on a self-made crisis, a phoney war or both. The corrupted Supreme court will likely back them up. Trump will have no choice when he realizes the GOP will be decimated if the elections went ahead........so they won't. And the DEMS will issue meek and mild statements protesting. Scary shit.

Harry, you make two factual statements but offer no citations to back up your claims. You write:

"Across the country, election officials are resigning in droves."

"All over the country, election administrators are stepping down."

I have tried to find sources that substantiate those two statements, but I have found nothing. Turnover among election officials has indeed been trending upward since 2000, a trend that predated Trump. See https://bipartisanpolicy.org/report/election-official-turnover-rates-from-2000-2024/

I can't find a single reported instance of anyone saying, "I am resigning because of Trump's threats regarding 2026." The fact that I can't identify such cases doesn't mean they don't exist. I am just reporting what I found after conducting several searches of public sources.

It would be helpful to know what basis you have for your claims of significant resignations because of Trump's threats.

Also, a sense of scale is needed. Per Ballotpedia, there are 10,000 entities that run elections in the US. How many election officials have resigned because of Trump's threats? A dozen? A hundred? A thousand?

Obviously, any resignation because of Trump's threats is unacceptable. But if the number is statistically equal to zero, that is an important fact to include. And the relevant number is the marginal increase above baseline, not the absolute number.

To be clear, we should take Trump's threats very seriously. I do. But in discussing the impact of those threats, we must be factual. So far as I can tell, Trump's threats have not caused civic-minded elections officials to "resign in droves."

Any clarification or amplification you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all you do.

Look into THIS, PLEASE: https://substack.com/@electiontruthalliance Election Truth Alliance.

The election equipment WASN'T secure, TO TRUMP'S ADVANTAGE. There is extremely credible evidence of vote manipulation in the swing states, such as Pennsylvania, documented by election forensic experts at the University of Michigan. The swing state votes must be audited.

Why in the name of the entire planet does this story need generative AI as the featured photo? Why does the story need an image at all?

Generative AI aggressively reverses efforts to curb global warming, is consuming, without community buy in, clean water in American communities as well as communities in places like Chile, steals the intellectual property of others all to line the pockets of pro Trump billionaires.

It's not worth it.

There is information and a lawsuit on ballot manipulation in Pennsylvania...other states this applies to as well. Greg Palast has been investigating VOTER suppression and there has been info on the voting machines in 2020 in Georgia having been accessed and the Cyber material used to modify votes. Jessica Denson speaks on this over and over.

Harry, it's hard to believe you consider yourself a wise man. This situation is utterly absurd. It's clear to anyone with their eyes open that Trump and Musk engaged in cheating. Harris understands this as well, but she's clearly

afraid of the backlash for challenging the results. As an American living in Europe, I can confidently say that everyone here recognizes that Trump cheated. I teach students from across Asia, and they're openly mocking America for its electoral integrity. The truth is, our elections have lacked security and honesty for far too long. Yet, individuals like you continue to bend the knee to Trump, allowing him and his associates to persist in their deceitful actions. It's time to face the facts.

I can’t help but believe that our election system has already been compromised. The 2024 outcome was unexpected. A convicted Felon swept 7 swing states by just enough to avoid a recount. Republicans spent the preceding 4 years undermining the system & installing partisans in key election oversight posts. I hate conspiracy mongering but really, 7 out of 7 ?

Kamala Harris never led in the polls and lost. Independent exit polling by the media confirmed the outcome. She conceded quickly because her internal polling confirmed the result (an inference on my part). One reason for the unexpected result could be the racism and sexism that everyone seems to have forgotten about as soon as Harris lost—even though those attacks were pillars of Trump’s campaign
