How do we get rid of the adynamic duo of Scam Blondi and ICE Barbi?

How many more crimes do they need to direct??

Jon Margolis's avatar

Impeachment. There is already a resolution to impeach KKKristi Noem, sponsored by more than 100 members of the House.

Thinking his lawyer may be able to sue Bondi personally after this criminal case with no legitimate legal basis gets dismissed.

Bogus suits like this are called SLAPP suits if I'm not mistaken, and Minnesota has an anti SLAPP law which allows for dismissal and recovery of attorney fees.

Bondi deserves a good SLAPP upside her head.

Bob Tinsman's avatar

My bad, SLAPP doesn't apply to criminal charges, I guess because USUALLY there's a presumption that the prosecutor hasn't gone off the rails. So much for that one...

I still think she needs a good slap upside the head, though....

This photo is very telling. She looks like a schoolgirl who is receiving praise from her most admired teacher. Sickening! When will there be any judgement on all this corruption? If praise is her reward, prison should be her punishment for subverting the law.

Just photographic evidence about them calling DonOld "Daddy."

Thank you for the very thorough and cogent explanation. Pammie Blondi is going down at some point, either thrown under the bus by trump, or arrested after the regime is no longer in power and at least disbarred. It makes me gag trying to imagine kissing up to the wannabe dictator.

the most egregious aspect of Bondi's attitude is the speed at which she dismisses moral principles and ancient legal truths to fit whatever event she's discrediting. her fawning eagerness to please her boss is revolting. she graduated from a 3rd rate law school in Deland, Florida and appears to thrive on coming up with new thoughtless comments every time she speaks. Her unflagging fealty to Trump reveals her total lack of insight and ability to consider independent analysis.

I can’t overlook the hypocrisy and sanctimony to Pam Bondi’s “If you riot in a place of worship, we WILL find you.” Trump’s DHS has broken with former practice and is forcefully apprehending suspected immigrants in houses of worship – only respectful when it serves them.

If only former Attorney General Merrick Garland had been just a modicum as corrupt as the current AG.

The truth is Pam BONDI was, is, and will always be Trump's personal lawyer first and the American people's lawyer second. John Mitchell would be embarrassed at the naked politicization of the DOJ under BONDI & Blanche. I am chagrined that there are no senior members of the GOP willing to come out of their hidy holes and speak truth to the American people and to move expeditiously to initiate impeachment proceedings.

Mr. Litman, you are a rock star! Your essay explains the law around this case so well that even Pam bondi could understand it. I so appreciate your brilliant analyses and explanations regarding all the despicable and blatantly unlawful things the regime is doing. This is why I’m a paying subscriber. You are excellent.

And..prison for all the trump-miller regime

A bit off-topic: Early in her tenure, Pam Blondie was subject to a very detailed ethical complaint about her conduct to the Florida Bar--a state agency--from a long list of persons (including two retired justices of the Florida Supreme Court) and civic groups (including Lawyers Defending American Democracy, of which I am a member, although I had nothing to do with the complaint). The Florida Bar turned the complaint aside, on the ground that it would not deal with it because the lawyer in question was in federal office--thus creating an ethics-free zone for people like Blondie. The proponents of the charge then went to the Florida Supreme Court seeking a writ of mandamus to force the Bar to act. The court, too, turned the appeal aside. All of which speaks volumes about the state of the law in The Sunshine State.

yes, and thank you. I too read and analyzed the FACE act. Lest anyone think that shouting or holding signs "intimidates" or "interferes with" anyone, the statute actually DEFINES those terms in ways that require actual confrontation with someone: "The term “interfere with” means to restrict a person’s freedom of movement." "The term “intimidate” means to place a person in reasonable apprehension of bodily harm to him- or herself or to another.”’ (Those are the statutory words) Physical obstruction means means "rendering impassable ingress to or egress from a facility" or making it "unreasonably difficult or hazardous." to come in or leave.

I'm not sure ANY of the protestors but I have no real idea of the minute by minute time during the protest. But even if some of them stepped over the line in the heat of the moment, the "conspiracy" bit is rotten to the core For there to be a conspiracy you have to act together to plan a crime. It is not a crime to protest, period. The idea that they got together to plan to violate the FACE Act is ludicrous. And certainly Lemon wasn't involved in any advance planning.

As far as I've heard, Lemon's sole physical contact was when the pastor bumped into HIM.

You know who does violate the FACE Act? ICE, whenever they swoop into a place of worship to grab whoever looks kinda like they could be undocumented. Will Kavanaugh find that one of the "factors" in his stops is not just that people hang out in parking lots, but also most Latinos are Catholic and often "hang out" at Mass.

Here’s a job for AI, something that would extremely useful in understanding just how in hell we got here; what is it in the human brain that causes a person to give up any and all moral structure he/she possessed to blindly follow another who never had one in the first place? There are a few in the dictator’s orbit who are just like him. Miller comes to mind immediately, RFK Jr. has always been a self-entitled asshole his whole life, but my take is that most of those carrying out the dictator’s wishes were for much of their earlier lives people who weren’t like what they’ve become under the dictator. Surprisingly, Bondi is one of those. Can’t remember where, but recently read a piece on her about who she was and what she was like before she gave it all up for this. I know, the easy answer is character weakness, lust for power, etc. but deep down inside she’s got to know that what she is doing is wrong. Does she really sleep that well at night? I don’t know, maybe it’s easier to do than I think, because I certainly couldn’t. Is it really that easy to give up every scrap of your integrity and self-respect? For a stupid blithering idiotic criminal?

Why Does The Far Right Attach To Culture Issues?

As a Guardian article(https://bit.ly/49qifHt) discusses the far right uses seemingly innocent cooking videos or music to engender following the ideology of extremism Even using AI to generate material can be expanded to get out the message to various societal interest group such as tradwives

So the short answer as to why culture issues are used as propaganda campaign ploys is “because it sells” A study being conducted in 6 European countries on the far right movement is delving into how the far right has used propaganda material on culture issues to “bring people along” in fostering a relationship with various groups in a population They have even started their own food delivery services

Here in the US we have seen similar far right approaches to latch onto various divisive cultural issues such as women is solitary domestic roles, diet issues because America is too fat, LGBTQ+ controversy, and even the childhood hits such as SpongeBob Squarepants and colored M&M’s promoted by such channels as the Fox propaganda network For example Fox Sports creates a following of NFL football as an entry point in order to bring the audience along to engage them on far right agenda items

The above study is looking at ways to counter this malevolent influence and at this point the best response is societal awareness that this is how far right propaganda networks are functioning
