I am very much afraid that should the gerrymandered election in 2026 not secure Congress for Trump, he will seek to overturn it, as you have suggested, by claiming that there was massive fraud and that he will then simply invoke martial law and declare the election null and void.
And/or that he will use such a declaration to remain in power without election in 2029.
So: can he do this? And if he does, is there any realistic hope of stopping him?

Well we did the same with protests of the Vietnam War against Kent State students that were killed. We’ve been here before and those were white students. Which immediately ended that war in months. But I worry now the ones getting disproportionately killed will be black people. I do not want a repeat of what we witnessed during his last reign. Which is also why you don’t see many of us in the streets now. We will not be on your frontline because most don’t care about our men, women and boys getting shot or killed and arrested. This seems strategic since the cities he’s discussed this week are where we are. This is their plan and we will not be the “rioting robbing thugs” again when we know how the crowds were antagonized. We are telling our people to stand down. We’ve been killed enough. We said don’t vote for him they did anyway. They’re changing laws we’ve fought hundreds of years for and no one says anything about how it is affecting us personally. Jobs we fought so hard for taken from us on a whim. Colonels, Generals dismissed. Federal workers etc. I haven’t even got into the immigrants who voted against themselves thinking he didn’t mean them if they had a green card, if they were doing everything legally when we told them he did mean them. I’m a super sad rn.

They were handcuffed, hooded, had their cell phones taken and were driven around for over an hour, not knowing where they were or where they were being taken. They were later released miles from home and their cell phones were returned. Pure, unadulterated, unconstitutional bullshit.
