SCOTUS Strikes Down Trump’s Mail-In Ballot Order – Live with Steve Vladeck

Breaking down the all-important USPS case.

I spoke with Georgetown Law Professor and Supreme Court savant Steve Vladeck to break down the Supreme Court’s decision in U.S. Postal Service v. California. The Court, in a short 7-2 ruling, denied Trump’s attempt to implement his mail-in ballot executive order, which would have introduced chaos into the upcoming midterm elections. We discuss the opinion, the quack dissent from Justices Alito and Thomas, and the avenues through which Trump could try to revive this fight after the midterms.
