Another fabulous and easy to digest analysis from The Litman School of Law. Many thanks, Harry.

Watched Stephen Millier on CNN describing a Portland that does not exist. The host tried to challenge him but Miller just talk over him spinning lie after lie. I live here. Here's what is really happening: "Who are these Trump thugs aiming their sniper rifles at? They are aiming them at us." https://halbrown.substack.com/p/who-are-these-trump-thugs-aiming

FOX. The Ministry of Disinformation. Trump hasn't a clue about what's happening on the ground except for what he sees on FOX and/or listens to on one or another right wing blog-cast. He just doesn't. And he does not get verifiable truths without spin from Miller, Bondi, or Noem. In a way, he's a victim. He's a victim of this vast dis-information factory that has put Blue America at risk for narrow, gerrymandered selfish reasons. And always remember: Trump won a plurality, NOT a majority.

No that’s too charitable. Don’t be deceived by the buffoonery. He doesn’t care about truth at all. Or the rule of law. As Garry Kasparov has said, Trump cares about just two things, money and power- for himself. He’s utterly ruthless what and whom he destroys to attain a Putin-like state of domination over this country. An extremely dangerous man with dangerous lackeys.

He is a very willing victim if he is any sort of victim. It would be logical if he were not a coward for him to go to Chicago and Portland to survey the “battleground” on a tour with the mayors and governors of the impacted cities and states. It would be reasonable for him if he were not an authoritarian bully boy enabled by a compromised SCOTUS to meet with said mayors and governors and work to limit the offensive activities of ICE so that its attention is directed not to making some arbitrary number of detentions or arrests but to actually detaining persons reasonably believed to have committed violent crimes rather than those found at their hearings with immigration officials or picking up their kids at school or looking for a day’s construction work outside a Home Depot.

But sadly - he's all about bread and circuses. Cruelty like Nero's is his comfort zone. Actually figuring out that FOX is feeding him chum would be a milestone.

Thanks for a very helpful explanation. We must not let a dictatorship make war on our country, especially one based in washington. And we must not let their deliberate lies or sick hallucinations be given deference. Our checks and balances must set limits now or they are worthless as Weimar's

Unlike SCOTUS, Judge Immergut applies clear thinking and common sense in her decision. Perhaps SCOTUS will take a lesson - though the cone of arrogance that surrounds the majority of their members seems impenetrable.

Great analysis! You did something I thought wasn’t possible these days—you made me feel hopeful.

Very well written. It so eloquently points out why this judge's ruling is so crucial to preserving the rule of law, and makes Justice Kavanaugh (and the other 5 conservative SCOTUS justices) seem like a man untethered to the law.

Thanks for this thoughtful analysis of judicial remarks!!

Cheeto And His Downfall: Hatred Mixed With Dementia

As the dementia of Cheeto evolves, he has said publicly, “I hate Democrats” This is not only divisive but wants to take the country backwards to the late 1800’s when the working class was ridden rough shod by the wealthy “robber barons” which today are called billionaires

So the demented madman and emotionally impaired Cheeto is now posting AI generated vile Nazi propaganda of Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, having the portrayed images making abusive lies about their own party’s constituents

Our military leaders listened to a ridiculous and deranged Disaster in Chief yesterday and they know that he is not well And the Congressional Nazis know that Cheeto is not well And the American people know the depravity and political perversity that Cheeto and his regime displays will make our country if allowed to continue as sick as he is
