Harry: As expected, a lucid and succinct summary of the maladministration of justice under Bondi and her cohort. As you state, we are replacing "impartial justice" with what I call "imperial justice," designed to suit the whims and hurt feelings of the emperor.

"Habba will be left with a lot of egg on her face."

The whole admin has thousands of pounds of egg on their faces and they just don't care, dishonesty/denial of facts and hypocrisy are the norm and a large percentage of the country simply doesn't care. Unless that changes, it's going to keep getting worse.

That may well be true, but it only makes the need for exposure of their specific goals and methods more important. When Trump claimed election fraud, the legacy press here in NY generally was satisfied with merely stating that his claims were untrue, ceding the field of argument to him. I think it’s the job of people opposed to Trump to turn over every rock to show what Trump has hidde

Ah, Harry, Harry. Doesn't it appear to you as it appears to me and many other people, that this administration/regime doesn't give one eff-eff about the rule of law, its norms or the injustices that occur right and left when it is ignored or overridden? Let's not play so nice. After you outline the specifics of each of these outrages let's start calling a spade a spade, so everyone has a clear and cogent understanding of what's at stake here, and just what (more than who) Trump's minions are.

IT’S NOW OR NEVER!

• Elections, the Constitution, courts, laws and media have become useless against the lawless, treasonous pro-Putin Trump/ GOP regime’s hostile takeover.

• We must not ignore, appease, cower and succumb to the Trump/ GOP fascist, oligarchic dictatorship. We must never surrender. WE MUST ACT. . . NOW!

• Pro-democracy, pro-rule-of-law Americans and all civilian, political and military leaders who have sworn an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic," must unite to decisively oppose and defeat the Trump/GOP fascist regime. WE MUST ACT ... NOW!

I believe the majority of our country (USA) recognizes the absolute corruption & weaponizing of the Justice system that Bondi on down are pushing. We the people won’t stand for this assault on our Constitutional & civil rights & will fight til our last breath to stop them. Ironically the power of our Justice system will ultimately be the punitive means by which Bondi, her dear leader & sycophants experience their downfall.

I agree that the majority of the country sees the corruption. But sadly a good chunk of that majority are willing to turn a blind eye to that corruption either actively so (MAGA) or passively so (non-voters). I personally do not see this changing. The mid term elections should be our golden, peaceful opportunity to start to turn things around. But I fear that the inertia of evil and apathy will overwhelm and minimize whatever “resistance” may be registered at the polls.

Martin, Blanche, Bove. They've joined the varsity in the Weaponization of Government for Purely Political and Personal Ends. WOGPPPE. Disgracing and degrading our DOJ. Can you imagine if the shoe were on the other foot and Obama or Biden had sprinkled rank partisans through the DOJ? Fox would have been hyperventilating.

Harry, have you written or spoken to the little known provision in the OBBB, that would essentially kneecap the judiciary, in enforcing TPOs, injunctions, and court orders if "security" isn't put up prior to any actual enforcement of defiance?

This seems extremely pernicious and very partisan since Trump is losing so many court cases. This doesn't just apply to immigration issues but, I'd assume, due to the restriction on appropriated funds, that is why it is showing up in the OBBB.

This isn't just one party adding pork but constitutional-esque slaughter.

If anyone would like to comment on this provision, why no one is talking about it, or if they have what is the chance it stays in the OBBB, if the Senate stays cowardly per usual, I'd appreciate it.

Here to learn and understand making sure everyone knows and understands also as I was stunned at first, like Medicare, it wasn't mentioned until yesterday, to my knowledge, so many may not know about the provision I'm speaking of.

This judiciary provision has been in the bill for a while now.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks for your comment because I don't think many understand, like myself, the poison pill that would remove contempt authority from the courts.

The ABA has said it is a "stunning" provision that would limit federal courts' ability to hold government officials and other litigants in contempt for disobeying their orders. The provision says federal courts can't use appropriated funds, cost of enforcements, to enforce a contempt citation for failing to comply with an injunction or TPO "if no security was given"

The provision applies to previously issued orders, as well.

It is related to Rule 65(c) as being contrary as it would require a bond up front.

It is really bad and truly would make a King out of a Jester. That's its intention.

I'll be calling my Senate reps over their holiday weekend to leave messages as the bill is bad enough on spending cuts that allowing the Executive to ignore court orders seals the fate of democracy. I humbly opine and it failed the first vote but passed in the second. They just are ceding.

Find out all you can as will I. This has to be removed and it needs to be told to the American people. They do this as people are thinking about the cuts on everything else and fail to mention this trinket. This would cut the line to the rule of law and our liberties.

Did I read that correctly? Did Bondage's nameplate read "HON", as in "honorable?" Or was that what she calls the Orange Turd? I vote that they insert a (DIS) before that misleading title.
