All of this lands squarely at Bondi’s feet. She belongs in prison.

As does every other sycophant in the administration, as well as the oligarchs that have bought this administration. ReleSe the Epstein files!

It’s time to stop threatening contempt and it’s time to start acting put these people in prison until they pay they’re fine. And it’s time to get rid of Pam Bondi she’s nothing but stooge for Trump

Real Apprentice's avatar

Agreed. Pam Bondi didn’t walk into DOJ to defend the rule of law, she walked in to audition for Chief Loyalty Officer.

They’d all get pardoned instantly if this DOJ even bothered to try them. Their accountability will only come when Democrats take back both the chambers of Congress and the White House. So make sure everyone you know is registered and will get to the polls and vote straight BLUE in 2026 and 2028! Onward…...

I would like to point to the first known liar and bad actor “Emil Joseph Bove III” now unaccountably a Judge on the Court of Appeals, Third Circuit

He can be impeached when we retake the House and Senate and removed from the court and tried when we have retaken the White House and sent to prison where he belongs!

I would say that it lands squarely at the feet of John Roberts and his 5 seditionist accomplices on the Supreme Court. In Trump v US Roberts wrote that the president could guide DOJ investigations and prosecutions. With that permission, Trump found himself an amoral bootlicking lackey in Pam Bondi to do his bidding. The amoral rat bastards on the Supreme Court set the ball in motion.

Judicial Role: As noted in Federalist No 78, the judiciary serves to ensure the law is applied based on established legal principles rather than political considerations. This corrupt and anti-American cabal of vile pedophiles, murderers and gangsters while be led by the Trump Mafia Family has eroded America's standing on the World Stage. Not only that, it will take decades for this to be remedied. The entire legislative agenda that has been presented by this incompetent and irresponsible POS has been to destroy all legal creditability and economic successes of past Democratic Presidents. What we are witnessing is the Putin Regime of Terror applauding the total destruction of Democracy at the hands of his puppet. The inhumanity of this vile and immoral Administration has no bounds. Moreover, the corrupt "red"ubli"con(SS) are culpable and America cannot depend on what used the "Party of the People" which has become the "Party of Putin", Puppet Master of the Leader of the Cult.

As MTN does so regularly, I bring receipts that support this thesis:

The following is from the ORLANDO SENTINEL

PUBLISHED: July 16, 2018 at 9:05 p.m. | UPDATED: July 27, 2019 at 2:03 a.m

"Nikita Khrushchev sent chills down my spine, I was nine years old in 1956 when I read that Russia’s Communist leader Nikita Khrushchev said, “We will take America without firing a shot. We do not have to invade the U.S. We will destroy you from within….” I distinctly remember thinking at my tender age, “That will never happen.” And now I am horrified to see Khrushchev’s words coming true.

The “red”ubli”cons(SS) are always promoting the distraction technique of “Biden is using is the weaponization of the DOJ to indict Traitor Trump. You have to be illiterate, blind or Anti-American not to recognize the similarities between that of the Hitler Regime and the Trump Regime being charged with RICO. “The key idea behind RICO is that it's about charging an individual or individuals in operating a criminal enterprise-- meaning more than one underlying crime (or "predicate act" in legal terms) is being committed, and the crimes are tied together into something much larger. In other words, Fani Willis has the receipts, documentation and Case Law to charge these individuals”

America needs to sound out in a unified voice and attack the hypocrisy of The New American Nazi Party before it is too late. The battle lines are being drawn, Authoritarianism vs. Democracy. Democracy will be on the ballot in November 2026 and I urge all to vote for Country over Party.

Your voice, your choice. Choose wisely in the Midterms 2026

Thank heaven for MTN!

Still waiting for a little civil coercive contempt.

Kathy Hughes's avatar

Personally, I would think a stint in jail for contempt might have a salutary effect on the DOJ’s flagrant violation of judicial orders. When the judge is ordering you to follow existing law, it’s not a suggestion.

Daniel Solomon's avatar

Fines. Double them for every sucessive failure.

The exposure is infinity.

Highly effective.

Thank you, Mr. Litman, for your excellent analysis of all the crimes ICE and this DOJ are committing. And the numerous judges who have called them out in clear and exasperated terms. I am a retired attorney and I believe it is past time for criminal contempt against these imposters.

Linda Amin's avatar

This is encouraging. But still AND AGAIN, what is the CONCRETE ACTION THAT IS BEING TAKEN TO REIN IN THESE ABUSES? WHO IS GOING TO JAIL? I’M PRAYING IT’S BONDI.

Ida N. Zecco's avatar

IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!! THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FAR TOO LONG!

joe alter's avatar

ALL of this, is the direct predictable result of Trump v US

Jacobs-Meadway Roberta's avatar

Perhaps it is time for the judges who have been subjected to this disrespect from DOJ attorneys to dismiss all charges against the victims of defiance of their orders with prejudice and threaten disciplinary action against the attorneys appearing for the Department should any attempt to circumvent the dismissal (such as new trumped up charges).

Kathryn Yates's avatar

Thank you for this information. Hopefully this administration will be held to account after the November election. VOTE!

Real Apprentice's avatar

Accountability is exactly what they’re afraid of.

Bondi and the GOP are betting voters forget faster than judges can write opinions. Right now they’re governing like the rule of law is optional and the next election is just another PR problem.

Turns out the one thing they can’t spin is a ballot.

Will accountability come in the future?

Robert Lawrence Gioia's avatar

Because it's simply an opinion until either criminal contempt or something punishing is handed down. If the justices have the power to grant these people citizenship so be it grant everyone citizenship if the DOJ pulls any shenanigans.

Kimberly's avatar

I'd argue that, rather than the Dept of Justice losing its way, its forging the path it intends to follow.

Rudy Bernardino's avatar

What particular aspects or events led you to see it as forging the intended path rather than veering off course? I'd be curious to hear more of your take.

We acknowledge that Bad Bondi is a shill for Donald Trump. So too Trump-above-all-others like Todd Blanche, Todd Lyons, Ed Martin and a host of others recruited off the sound stages at FOX. Though we can be forgiven for having forgotten that they exist, there is such a thing as, NEWS FLASH the Senate Judiciary Committee whose job is to watch out for the people upholding our laws, not our current political leaders. In this day and age, it's asking a lot of raw political hacks, I know, but it is actually possible for them to exercise influence and to begin to steer us back to a law abiding DOJ. Not with current DOJ leadership I grant you, but "yes" in the long run.

Look to the head of the snake at the moment, Chuck Grassley & his team mate Lindsey Graham and you'll soon be able to see why we're in the state we're in. But let's look to them all to re-gain their loyalty to our country, not just one man, or not be re-elected (ps Graham has a terrific opponent this fall in Dr. Annie Andrews).
