It's disgraceful, like you said. These people need to be stopped.

Pretty much. And, as our Republic is more than 50% comprised by as well as composed of the Women who live in this Country, so is the power of the People! Until we demand that our public servants recognize that coequality was promised to them in the Declaration and is already protected under the Constitution, we cannot expect the system to begin functioning normally again. https://republia.substack.com/p/native-coequality-is-natural-law

Yes it’s so completely absurd. The SPLC should simply stick to the facts, welcome scrutiny as no one is above the law, take the high road - the DoJ’s case will self implode & Patel/Blanche will look like the clowns they are.

When are Blanche and Patel going to be disbarred?

This has all of the scent of a bone thrown to the civil war rascists who want to disable any organization fighting for minority rights. It would be helpful to list all of the investigations and attempted indictments of the DOJ to determine what percentage are political efforts.

It is a witch hunt. It is a lie.

Yes! But it makes trump and his friends look bad! And THAT'S why they filed this. All his white supremacist friends...

A flimsy, shameful exercise in word-twisting and hypocrisy. I simply cannot think of an example of a comparable exercise.

But we don’t sue a car dealer for discounting a vehicle that someone ultimately uses to rob a bank and say the seller was “supporting robberies”?

They aren’t even bothering to do the work to hide their deceit anymore.

Devious minds weaving sticky webs to catch ignorant rubes for consumption.

Just another example how our laws can be manipulated by money, power, hate and greed.

It's really sad to witness Todd Blanche's downward spiral. I imagine he was pretty idealistic when he was an AUSA. But now that big time money and power are all about him, he's sold his soul to the devil or, at least, so it would appear. I guess, in actuality, he's running for office, so to speak. Since there is no bottom to Trump's own issues, Blanche has to swim in those same waters to get the big job. Leading to the question: will he ever return to his idealism and optimism? Will he ever return....?

Harry, it's a great piece, but you need to remember to keep some powder dry just in case. What do I mean? Well, the phrase "disgracefully dishonest" applies to so much of the Trump criminal enterprise that it risks getting overused. :-)

Cheeto’s Sad About Giving Back Tariff $$$

SCOTUS gave Cheeto a message about his tariff policy calling it unconstitutional so their decision went back to a lower court international trade judge who set up the payback schedule

What was Cheeto’s response? Any corrupt Mafiosa boss whose life is driven by only one thing, $$$, one could predict his disgusting response Cheeto’s said that it was that it was very sad that he had to give back the $$$ he had stolen from the American taxpayer in a scheme to enrich his Treasury and compensate for his tax gift to his Nazi wealthy cronies

Ruth Ben-Ghiat, author of Strongmen: From Mussolini to Present, in a recent Q&A(https://bit.ly/4vMN5V4) about the characteristics of dictators, discusses the greed of a dictator and how the governed’s welfare are never considered in decision making It’s always to enrich himself and his allies until they are no longer useful to him

But let’s remember that Cheeto is just the tip of the fascist iceberg created by the CNPP(Christian Nationalist Pedo Party) There are at least 30% of the American population who recycle his lies and maintain the propaganda echochamber, perpetuating the lies that Cheeto tells and giving him the verbal support which is what is needed by the CNPP WE the People need to vote these fascists out of office and never let them see the light of public office again

No justice in the department of Trump Revenge!

Swbv's avatar

Just as the Department of Defense is now the Dept of War, I soon expect Blanche to push the renaming of the Department of Justice to The Department of Vilification and Revenge.

If anything or any to me was ever a vexatious litigant , wouldn’t that be the Department of justice and Trump

The DOJ going fishing again. Stick to real fish.

Nobody in their right mind should take seriously any indictment or charge from the Trump DOJ. So hopefully people will see right throuigh this nonsense.
