The same people who investigated Hunter Biden and the “Biden crime family “ don’t think Trump and his family are doing anything wrong.

I know, right? James Comer and Gym Jordan are actually being given a master class on how to best weaponize the government in service to their liege lord.

Watch J6 footage and think about the fact that every single rioter you see is about to become a millionaire and the American taxpayers are writing the check!

I remember where I was and what I was doing (in the middle of a boring video meeting when I got a BBC news alert) when I saw video of the capital covered in people who, for HOURS, assaulted the police officers. 5 officers deaths are connected to this assault.

Then, once inside the building, proceeded to hunt for congress members, stole items and ransacked offices, destroyed and broke building items, defecated wherever (that should tell you something about these people), generally continuing to be the mob they were outside!

The mob assault, the death threats to congress people followed by trying to follow through on them and the looting were and are criminal behaviors. Paying compensation to someone convicted of these crimes, using the excuse that they were "harmed", is like mafia paying off a bunch of thugs for any inconveniences that happened to them while on "the job".

Add in Stealing tax payer money to do so makes the whole set up CRIMINAL.

You are so right on the taxpayer money. The Republican pussies in Congress need to find their balls and tell the orange turd to go F*** himself. There is no way any of this is legal, and we need to find a way to stop it.

I’m sorry, but if we have to pressure Congress to act over such a gross and blatant violation, we shouldn’t bother with pressure. They need to be removed from office. We don’t need more strongly worded letters and performative speeches. We need them to do their jobs without us having to yell at them to do their jobs. I am so utterly sick and tired of having to raise these children.

Todd Blanche should be disbarred for multiple violations of the lawyers' code of professional responsibility.

Thank you for highlighting this Talking Feds.

From over here across the pond it stands as a classical example of everything wrong with our ally the U.S., whom we've loved, we've supported because it was, up until now, a just cause.

It is not difficult to support someone when you know them to be righteous, but not so easy when you might realise that your support is actually enabling something wrong.

Trump is the mistake the U.S. has made and there can never be an end of it until his enablers realise.

From here George Conway ain't a bad route back if America needs a Republican, but Trump is not even a politician, he's a dictator.

You have our love Talking Feds. Thanks for what you do.

Musk stole the election for trump. It’s well-documented. Check out ‘This Will Hold’ on Substack. Also, an ex of Musk’s is telling about how he did it. It’s a travesty! We’re stuck with this evil fool!

> Senator Mitch McConnell lamented, “So the nation’s top law enforcement official is asking for a slush fund to pay people who assault cops? Utterly stupid, morally wrong—take your pick.”

McConnell would do well to remember that this is exactly the logical conclusion of shredding the honor system that has (we now understand) held post-WW II US democracy together, in order to block Merrick Garland's nomination from coming to a vote.

The nation is reaping what McConnell sowed.

And for his actions in the 2nd impeachment process. First he delayed the trial until Trump was beyond removing. Then he explained not voting for conviction by saying Trump should be held accountable by the justice system. What a price we have paid, perhaps the ultimate price of the destruction of the country, which is well underway.

Curious that this brazen corruption has made us stop talking about Trump’s involvement with Epstein. Have you considered that this corrupt money grab was designed to distract us from that OTHER scandal? The scandal that could potentially break the hypnotic control Trump has on his followers and the one (that we know of) act that could result in a criminal rather than just civil conviction?

Trump doesn't know how to be an honest, law-abiding man. He enjoys being thoroughly corrupt. He is a bad person.

All true. And the message it sends is to those who attempted to overthrow our democracy is “Be ready to do it again. I’ll cover you.”

Blanche. There was, I suspect, a time when he was an AUSA in Manhattan when he looked up to the constitution and had a high degree of credibility with colleagues and judges. That credibility is no doubt what drew him Donald Trump's attention.

I'm so sorry it has come to this.

This is a great article.

Lately, I’ve seen the J6 attacks leave out the fact that people DIED during the shameful seditious events.

Stupido's latest financial boondoggle is and should be an affront to every citizen of this country! I've always said that tRump won't stop until WE stop him. If we stand up, we can foil his evil plans at every turn for the rest of his term. LET'S DO THIS!

This should put an end to Todd Blanche's bid to be Attorney General. How can any senator vote for him now?

NanceeM's avatar

Just like they've voted for all of his other unqualified appointees.

One legal argument I haven't seen is: This Settlement Agreement is constitutionally void.

Frank Bisignano, "CEO" of the I.R.S., signed the agreement with the Justice Department to create the Anti-Weaponization Fund.

The position of "Chief Executive Officer" (CEO) of the IRS was created by the Treasury Department—specifically appointed by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent—and was not created by an act of Congress as required by Constitution.

The Art I Necessary and Proper Clause grants Congress the exclusive authority to establish offices and determine their functions. And the Appointments Clause divides this power to prevent unilateral executive overreach.

Mr. Bisignano was never authorized by Congress to do anything on behalf of the US government.

I'd appreciate Harry's opinion on this!

How does this get enforced? Who has standing to bring a case?

Why call it court packing if we had a Supreme Court justice for each judicial district? This would allow each district to be served by a justice who was aware of issues within the district

In its dying months, the rotten, wormy tumptree is shedding its leaves, crinkled, dried, and only useful in covering a bit of the shit-covered ground at its base. Seven months more and we can all shout "TIMBERRR" (pronounced im-peeee-ch!)

I want to slap Trump's smug face. Blanche should be ashamed but kissing Trump's ass says it all. This is corruption beyond the pale. It has to be stopped before anyone of Trump's creeps get any of "my" money. I try to get through each week with my pension and now I'm supposed to give my hard-earned cash to these crooks. No way. If this Congress can't get off it's lazy ass and stop this slush fund, they'll most definitely be looking for a new job far away from Washington. Being primaried is nothing compared to the anger and uproar of a hurting nation.

Just dealing with this won’t save any of the R’s running for election or re-election. It all goes back to the beginning….. with DOGE and the Muskrat stealing all our personal information and everything in between then and now that’s built up what they perceive to be enough distraction to actually pull off an outright theft of tax dollars to give to the J6 traitors and all their other accomplices. They already did it when they gave $5M to Ashely Babbitt’s family. This makes fraud, waste and abuse look nominal, as it’s really the biggest heist, in broad daylight, right in front of the faces of all of us who would have to foot the bill. And this will certainly not be the last attempt by TACO and his henchmen, he will continue this until there’s nothing left in our Treasury if they don’t get it stopped, and are held accountable for this brazen action. Thanks Harry, both Part I and Part II were brilliantly written. Onward…….
