I am old enough to recall Spiro Agnew having to resign because the FBI found he’d been taking bribes most of his political life, including while VP.

And they were handed over in paper bags! Such mafioso dealings…he needs a bunk next to a ‘homie’ 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽!!! 🤣

Seems so quaint, doesn't it.

Self-Evident Truths

1) A $50,000 bag of money given bribe and filmed is fair evidence of a crime. Therefore Kash Patel and Pam Bondi obstruct justice. That is a crime even here in Alabama.

2) The FY2026 BUDGET is the primary responsibility of the Republicans in Congress and the President.

3) When a sniper targets and shoots 3 immigrants, it is an immigrant shooting (not an attack on ICE). That is until sound evidence proves otherwise. Immigrants are just as much “Anti-ICE” as we are. I do not see actions that point to shooting at ICE agents.

4) Every Republican in the Senate voted against releasing the Epstein files. EVERY.REPUBLICAN.SENATOR.VOTED.NO. The question is “Why would they do that?” Answer that question for me, please.

5) The contrived distraction that’s the crime of bombing boats on the high seas makes those Republican senators complicit in murder. They could have stopped all of this.

The corruption is breathtaking, from trump on down. You wonder if any of their parents taught any of them morals or basic decency. Especially the way they all showed up in the guise of pious Christians at Charlie Kirk's funeral, vowing eternal vengeance against every liberal alive, including an organization that does not exist, thus showing utter contempt for the most basic of Christian teachings. Trump actually, literally, spelled out his contempt for the teachings of Jesus, his lord & savior.

In the law there is a penalty not just for knowingly committing a crime but for doing so when you should have known the facts. This is so people who are expected to be aware cannot just turn a blind eye to the facts & evade responsibility by claiming ignorance. The trump administration has, by their own report, blinded both their eyes, destroyed their hearing & are unable even to smell the stench of the corruption they wallow in.

Thank you, sir, for your excellent analyses.

RIP The law in the US. Criminals in the administration are free while migrants who have not committed crimes are put into detention.

Welcome to the USA where down is up, a stopped escalator is sabotage and murdered migrant detainees were shot by anti-Ice leftists.

We have walked through Alice's looking glass.

"Didn't do anything wrong" who the heck is he bullshi... Sorry, Homan you got caught., there's evidence and FBI agents still around to tell the truth. Now's the time for the DOJ to realize it has a constitutional duty to prosecute you. Thanks, Harry.

It’s Almost hurtful the things this regime is getting away with! while ordinary citizens are being literally crucified for way lesser infractions! I’m numb! I’m beginning to have No words! I’m tired of being outraged cursing from my Soul!meaning every word because I loathe the orange felon and every human that he’s hired!! Not one of them is worthy or qualified for the job titles they have! How many times in an organization does that happen… Not too many that I’ve ever seen. It’s an abomination!!something that America Truly doesn’t deserve and I Pray We Continue To Muster The Strength to Fight On Till Victory is Won!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

So much criminality, so little real law enforcement from this regime. Creating bogus charges to persecute Democrats & exonerating Convicted republicans. How can The Mar a largo Cartel be held to account and stopped from rigging the midterm elections? Republicans have to be forced to defend the corruption they’ve enabled. It’s not much but I’ll be at the No Kings protest on Oct 18 & voting for proposition 50 in November to start.

You wrote of the trump regime's embarrassment if the tape comes to light.

There is NOTHING that embarasses him and his minions. They just lie it away.

John Lucken's avatar

They are proud of their lies.

They double down & repeat them. It’s as if they compete with each other. Who can tell the biggest lie & get away with it. Their King, of course, is the winner. I wish we could Make America Honest Again.

Two more things. The investigators were tipped off that Homan was accepting “Donations”. There were probably earlier Cava bags before he was caught on tape in the sting. Then there’s the question: why was Homan so certain he would be able to reward the bribe, in September, before they even won the election?

I prefer to call him Ho-man, because he's goin' down quicker'n'a crack ho in a dark alley.

The insight into the workings of the DOJ bureaucracy is beyond priceless. We on the outside are usually left wondering “WTH?” and seeing DOJ as a black box. But somewhere in the nooks and crannies of DOJ someone must have thought (1) that a case against Homan was possible and (2) that Homan might become politically vulnerable. Compared to the speed at which Homan’s case was killed, action in the Eric Adams case (remember him?) proceeded at warp speed. Homan may want to read up on the Night of the Long Knives.

Isn't this all similar to Spiro Agnew? You know that evil man who was Nixon's VP and had to resign because of all the money bags and illegal goings-on. Will they ever learn? Probably not because for the gop and their descended inheritors, it's always about money.
